I'm here to report a subtle change in the doujin gallery, since there were still many data failures reported and pages going MIA we decided to take actions.

So now the gallery is even more split up then before, now it's almost identical to the normal gallery (except that ours is way cooler of course =^p)

EDIT: Because people are lazy bastards that refuse to go to a second submenu I have removed all the letter filters in the categories on the DG, if you don't know what I mean just go to the DG and look for yourself

The Story Section

The Story section is indeed with 2.0!

The theme IS terrible, and I AM paying for a replacement as I speak to fit our theme! :)

So for now, ANY AND ALL authors, or people who know authors (whether naughty or clean, we want both!), please, post your work! Beg your writer friends to do it too! Let's make it a great place of erotic and non erotic fiction for all to enjoy! :)

The CG Gallery

The Cg gallery is the second of our new additions with 2.0!

it is listed under the galleries menu, and unlike the other galleries, is sorted via name alone since most are NOT based around any anime or series known to exist.

QQQQQQ! We want organization!!!! Yea yea! We need taggers to go through, and tag the Sets for us, so the search feature works. Once that does, all you do is search for say 'big boobs', and boom! You'll get a return of EVERY picture with that tag on it. :)

I assume many of you are going, 'BUT! What about FOK?! When?! I NEED ITTTT!!'.

FOK has no ETA. I want 2.0 stable, all the new gallery/story themes setup right, THEN I will begin focus on setting up FOK.

If all goes well, I would say by the end of may at the latest, FOK will release. :)

I am constantly updating the content we have for it, and if enough people ask... I may just go setup the galleries in a beta form, to show off the content, and allow USERS to submit stuff we don't have, for me to add before FOK's release to make it all the better! :D

Other improvements

Shoutbox: The shoutbox has been GREATLY enhanced! Mini-avatars (if we bother), auto refreshing, that ANNOYING FUCKING POP UP is gone, more smilies, and dozens of improvements!

Why did I bother? Well... the Shoutbox is coming to the Galleries with their new theme! So you perverts can talk while busy zipping along the galleries. :)

now I haven't heard much yet about my other companions in the bloody battles of the sorting of the doujin gallery (and believe me it's bloody, damn those virgins!!) but I've been busy again for all our loyal followers, so far I've bend myself over to the entire gallery again and I'm almost completely done with A, which means that the numbered category is already completely done :p

News on 2.0

2.0 is coming along nicely. We have run into an issue with the job application page (the biggest web page of 2.0 sitting at around 13 pages in length!!), and are currently trying to fix this.

atm, I am actively hunting down a designer for the gallery themes, which is going to revamp the gallery entirely. New color, new look, and new layout. What kind of change? Nothing you need fear, simply we are moving the bars from the top, to a bar on the left (or right! I need input on this). We are not removing anything!

Of course, we are working on the story/cg section/gallery as well while we wait! ;)

The Overkill Empire

As I have said before, we are but a mere province in the mighty, Overkill Empire!

Furry Overkill, the first of our new homes is progressing well! We have not set it up yet, but last I recall we have something like 350 doujins, and over 40,000 furry only images just from me alone! x.X

Speaking of which, soon after 2.0 launches we are going to be recruiting for FOK, and our 'mirror site', Anime Overkill!

AOK


AOK is the exact opposite of HOK. Instead of hentai, it's anime. Streaming episodes, galleries full of pics, story sections for fanfics, a forums dedicated to anime, and of course, tends of thousands of manga chapters. :P

This is so we may provide you with both the good and naughty side of anime! It WILL be updated as soon as new episodes are released of airing series, as we plan to be just as competitive as other Anime sites, but just that much better ;)

We will be launching a job page just for AOK soon after 2.0's release to look for future staff, and those who want to help us build AOK up into it's true glory!

We have already been working on AOK for about 5 months now, collecting manga, episodes, etc etc... last I hear we have over a few hundred episodes already uploaded and ready to stream the moment AOK is out.

Our current goal is june 1st, we begin to assemble AOK.

July 1st, AOK Beta is released to the public! We will continue to steadily fill in content as we go along the beta as well. We're going to rock your socks off. ;D

So look forward to it, big things are a brewing! :)

What does 2.0 mean?

2.0 is the 'rebirth' of HOK. What specifically does that entail?

- Complete redesign of the site, new looks, easier to use, more content!

- New sections such as the CG Gallery, Story Section, and many more hidden ones! :p

- A complete redesign of the galleries! NO MORE UGLY GREY!! YAY! (Coming soon!)

- and tons more of little things, too much to add. :P

The Overkill Empire

that's it?! Nope! See... we're using the 2.0 design for our biggest and boldest move ever, TO TURN HOK INTO THE OVERKILL HENTAI EMPIRE! *dramatic music* :P

The 'Overkill Empire' from here on out, is just that. HOK will be expanding its reaches, and conquering new frontiers of hentai. What do we mean? Well...

- Furry Overkill, a sub-site of HOK with it's own galleries, forums, and site with you guessed it, ALL FURRY CONTENT! Nothing else. Forums, galleries, everything is about furry love! (not the creepy, dressing up a suit kind >.> though that'll be a section in the forums for those die hards).

Position: Normal Gallery Collector

Requirements to apply: Good knowledge of games and animes would be a major plus

Details: As a Collector, you will be assigned a list of series to find images for. Once you have as many images of the series you were given, you then submit them to the admins, who will add them to the gallery. Simple. :)

Position: Doujin Gallery Sorter

Requirements to apply: A good knowledge of Games and Anime is a requirement, without it, you won't be able to sort!

Details: Sorting is simple. Go to your assigned series, look through the *Unsorted* album, and sort it properly into genre, as well as weed out any misplaced pictures that belong to other series. Rinse and repeat!

Details: You will find, and collect FULL cg sets, and then pass them onto the admins to add. Simple, yet vital to the site. :P
