Soooo, I'm sure all of you want to know wtf is going on. So lets get to it!

Will we Live?
At the moment, i can decisively say... yes. Mostly. :P
At the current rate of funds we have JUST enough to keep afloat (with a tiny profit margin of like a dollar on average days), but this means we have 0 spendable income, aka no future projects :( But we're alive!

HOK 2.0
This would not be possible without the donations, but HOK 2.0 is a go still, once we find a fucking web designer who actually sticks to it (gone through three now ;//).
The CG gallery is up and functional, the updates to the Normal and Doujin Galleries are nearly done, the new gallery layout is decided and ready to be made, as is the various other perks and tweaks coming. ;)

Furry Overkill
IF IF IFFFFF all goes right, FOK will be in open beta shortly after 2.0 launches hopefully with a fully done theme and setup (for the most part).
What will be there you ask? Let me list off the details.
- CG Section
- Doujin Section
- Normal Image section
- Story Section
- Forums
But... that's HOK! Yep. We're keeping the layout VERY similar (in layout). The difference being FOK will have a furry theme, furry galleries, and forums dedicated entirely to, you guessed it, Furries! :p
There will only be series and content related to furries on FOK, so there's no need to look elsewhere for anything furry related once FOK is released out of Beta ;)
The Forums will be setup differently, I'm still unsure what we're doing since we have the topic of 'real life' furries, and how the hate for them turns into wars, and yea... not happening. :P But I'll make sure to sort that out as it comes up.
I have been secretly collecting content, and atm, we stand at almost 20,000 unique images, not counting any CG's nor half the series i haven't even collected for yet! :P
So look for it, it'll be here soon, followed by other 'expansions' of the holy (unholy??) Overkill Empire! ;D

The H-Game
Yes! It has not been forgotten. In fact, it enveloped most of our Staff meeting in the previous weeks. :)
We (rather I), have setup the BASIC concept of the game (the serious part, the story and lore :P). The races are mostly decided, with three 'factions' holding 6 unique races each. These races vary from Furries, to succubi-loli and zealotic crusader Pixies... it's very wide diversity to say the least =P
Unfortunately, our host is not replying to my requests to get access and setup the damn MUD (the text version of the game we're going to use as a 'blue print' for the real version).
If you're wondering what our plans are for the game, it is as followed.
#1 Basic creation of the world, lore, races, classes, combat system, and all other aspects of the game into a basic shape and form.
#2 after the world is created, the classes balanced, and everything is polished, we open the text version to the public for some fun times of killing each other. (and possibly getting ass-pounded by a queer. Yes you :P!).
#3 Continue to polish off the game, prepare it for a BASIC graphical version. By basic, i mean it's unlikely it will have 'moving characters' like... say WOW. Rather it will be a display style game in a game window. I'll clarify later.
#4 if the game grows in popularity enough to support it, expansion of the game into a full-fledged HMMORPG will begin with various additions to the game (beyond being totally overhauled, and new), including intrigrating your character into the forums as an 'avatar' which SHOULD reflect equipment choices, etc. This will add a use of the game beyond the game, into the site for those who enjoy that.
#5 After a stupidly long development, we release the new, awesome ass Hentai RPG! It will NOT be pay to play, or so we have it designed at the moment.
I know that's rather messy and brief, but the idea is text game blue print ---> basic graphical game ---> full fledged MMORPG. (Not going to compare to WOW, but it should be pretty damn decent. :P)

And finally! Donators. Thanks to them hok 2.0 is possible! We're still short a few hundred dollars to do all the projects we would've done, but this has made the majority of it possible. So please thank the following!:

Keep an eye on this post, I'll be updating it constantly!
The plan right now, is to TRY and get a system going where we can meet the minimum amount per day from ads to cover HOK's current cost. Which is 6.22$ a day on a 31 day calendar.
At the very least, this will buy us a few more months while we work on other options. Right now, I'll be blunt, it's 50-50, slowly climbing towards us NOT disappearing. Though i can't say anything until i get a few days worth of info to judge off of.
Now, I'm going to be getting FOK (furry Overkill) launched in the coming week or two in a BETA version. This is due to two reason.
#1 if HOK has to go down, there will be a back up site ready to go.
#2 If HOK stays as it is now and we recover, then we now have FOK online, the first step towards the OK empire! :P
So either way it's win-win. Yes, I've been collecting Furry content all fucking day for the last 3 days... ugh...
Don't get your hopes up! There IS a single popup being produced from the galleries now on a 1 hour timer (aka you should see 1 pop up per hour, that's it). That SHOULD set us over the needed funds to keep afloat until we can figure out a better, more permanent solution!
HOK cannot fall. For you can destroy the site, but you can never kill the desire and love so many of us share for it.

After such great plans, after so much promise... you knew something horrible was going to happen, and indeed, it did.
Due to a User who will remain unnamed for now, who uploaded a 'gore filled' image into the user gallery we did not see, our advertisers have banned us.
What does that mean? It means HOK has 0 income. No money at all, no server, no profit, nothing. All other companies similar to them are VERY poor in return, some are not even 1/20th as good as the one we have lost :/
Sooooo, we're fucked. Literally. There are only two real options left, both of which i doubt will do enough to recover from this issue...
#1 would be donations, simply living off these. But... as seen in the past, after nearly a YEAR, we had received 0.00$ in donations. Aka, it won't happen.
#2 Would be to make the site a helluva lot more annoying to navigate, adding quite a few more advertisements, which WILL be in your direct view most of the time, alongside possibly adding a single pop up that appears every 5 pages. Though this option disgusts me, and makes me feel like I'm violating what HOK stands for.
*Sigh*... at the current rate of funds we have available, if we cancel all the website design, gallery theme, etc etc, we have 4 months left. Then there's simply no money left. I can't afford 200 USD a month from my own pocket :/
Now. All is not lost, for the resourceful dictator i am, i have come up with a plan, though not great, it is our 'last ditch' shot.
We will create a brand new Site, relating to one of the 'Empire' Genre's we had discussed. Aka A site that is dedicated to a SINGLE Fetish/Genre of Hentai. Lolicon was discussed, but we fear the trouble from the law (Though unlikely), from Advertisers claiming it's 'child porn', even though it's not, as well as the 'activists' who are like frenzied KKK members except A.L.L (Anti Lolicon Legion).
Our likely choice for now, will be Furries. Why? Well, most of you at least don't mind Furries, while there is a rather large 'userbase' for such fetishes, as well as it involves no real worry about any type of issue.
We will use said site to create enough of an 'extra revenue', to host itself, alongside HOK which will be brought up as soon as funds are available for it.
*Sigh...* I'll update you all as i get updates, but it looks VERY grim unless our userbase does a 180, and begins to donate...
